Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Hand-painted Ornament

Butterfly lovers will adore this eastern tiger swallowtail ornament. This beautiful butterfly can be found fluttering around gardens throughout eastern North America. Their caterpillars pupate in leaf litter, which is one of many good reasons to let your leaf litter stand throughout the winter.

I painted this ornament by hand on baltic birch after engraving it with my own design. A protective coating will keep it safe for handling and storage. Please note that because this ornament is hand-painted, yours may have slight variations from the one pictured here.
