Brown-Headed Nuthatch Hand-Painted Ornament

I always hear brown-headed nuthatches before I see them. Their squeaky calls tell me to look up when I’m walking in pine woods and I often see them hopping down a tree trunk, tail feathers in the air. This sweet brown-headed nuthatch is in a branch of loblolly pine, where I often see them.

I painted this ornament by hand on baltic birch after engraving it with my own design. A protective coating will keep it safe for handling and storage. Please note that because this ornament is hand-painted, yours may have slight variations from the one pictured here.
