This black swallowtail ornament will make a lovely addition to any butterfly lover's home! Also known as the American swallowtail or parsnip swallowtail, their larvae feed on both parsley and fennel.
I painted this ornament by hand on 1/8 inch baltic birch after engraving it with my own design. A protective coating will keep it safe for handling and storage. Please note that because this ornament is hand-painted, yours may have slight variations from the one pictured here.
